Marvin Dingle, MD
Dr. Marvin Dingle is currently serving in the United States Navy as a hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgeon at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, graduating with a BS in Chemistry while playing Division I football. Dr. Dingle received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. After graduating medical school, he went on to train in orthopaedic surgery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Dingle’s career then led to a fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery at the OrthoCarolina Hand Center in Charlotte, NC. His first military duty as a hand surgeon was overseas at the Naval Hospital in Okinawa, Japan.
Other than hand surgery, Dr. Dingle is also passionate about mentorship and support of current and future orthopaedic surgeons. He is the proud son of a retired United States Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer and the brother of a Navy veteran. His mother was born and raised in the Philippines and worked for the government as a civilian. Dr. Dingle is married and raising 3 talented and driven girls in Rockville, MD.
